Terms of Service

By accessing or using Good Browser Games (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required) and able to form a binding contract.

The Service

Good Browser Games is a directory that lets you discover and play free browser games supplied by third-party developers. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and remove any game or listing, at any time and without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download content except as permitted by our robots policy;
• reverse engineer, break, or bypass the sandbox or any security or access controls;
• overload, disrupt, probe, or attack the Service or the networks behind it;
• copy, resell, re-host, or frame our pages, design, or catalog without permission;
• upload or transmit malware, or use the Service for anything unlawful or infringing.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Third-party games (play at your own risk)

Games are owned and operated by their developers. Some run in a sandboxed frame on our pages; others open on the developer's own site when you press Play. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, behavior, or data practices, and we make no promises about them. You play third-party games, embedded or linked, at your own risk.

Submissions

If you submit a game, images, or other content, you represent that you own or control all necessary rights and permit embedding and display. You grant Good Browser Games a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, thumbnails), display, embed, and promote that content on and for the Service. You may withdraw a submission, and we will stop displaying it going forward. You are solely responsible for what you submit.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, compilation of listings, and branding, belongs to Good Browser Games and is protected by law. Game titles, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Copyright & takedown

We respect intellectual property. If you are a rights holder and believe content is used without authorization, email hello@goodbrowsergames.com with enough detail to identify the work and the listing, and we will remove it promptly.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Browser Games and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed US $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Good Browser Games and its operators from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Before filing anything, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing hello@goodbrowsergames.com and giving us 30 days. If that fails, you and Good Browser Games agree to resolve disputes by binding individual arbitration, and both waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class or representative action. Either party may still bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another region whose law forbids these terms, they apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing here removes mandatory rights you have under your local law, including the right to bring claims in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date below, and your continued use means you accept them.

General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms; you may not. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Good Browser Games about the Service.
